Java Plug-in enables enterprise customers to direct Java applets or JavaBeans components on their intranet Web pages to run using Sun`s Java Runtime Environment (JRE) instead of the Web browser`s default virtual machine.
Sun Microsystem`s Java Plug-in software lets users specify that their browser use Sun`s implementation of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) instead of Netscape or Microsoft`s default Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The plug-in provides full JDK support, including support for JavaBeans and RMI.
The JavaTM Plug-in is now included with the JRE Windows Production Release. |
